More than $172,000 in Grants Awarded to New Hampshire Non-Profits

People’s United Community Foundation, the philanthropic arms of People’s United Bank, today announced that it awarded $172,965 to 23 New Hampshire non-profit organizations in 2017.

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation Awards over $2.3 Million to more than 900 Organizations in 2017

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation announced that it awarded more than $2.3 million in grants to more than 900 nonprofit organizations in over 300 communities in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire in 2017. Since its inception in 1980, the Foundation has granted more than $145 million in funds throughout the four states.

Largest NH School Solar Array Installed at Phillips Exeter Academy

Phillips Exeter Academy is home to the largest solar array of any school in New Hampshire. The ballasted rooftop array was recently installed by ReVision Energy on the academy’s new, 84,574-square-foot field house in Exeter.

The Friends Program is pleased to announce that Kimberly Yarlott has rejoined the Board of Trustees and Susan Smith has been hired as the Director of Senior Programs

Kim is the Principal of Reeds Ferry Elementary School, Merrimack, NH and began her teaching career in Concord, NH.  She was named the 2017 NH Principal of the Year and is recognized as a National Distinguished Principal. Susan is the former Executive Director of NH Voices for Health. She worked with seniors at the Taylor Community as the Administrator and COO.
