Kathleen Reardon to Speak at May Business Forum in Concord
Kathleen Reardon, CEO of the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits, will be speaking at the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming event: “Tariffs, DOGE and Executive Orders: What are the Impacts?” on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1 PM.
This lunch forum will explore how recent national policy changes—like new tariffs, digital currency trends (including DOGE), and executive orders—could affect local businesses and nonprofits. The event features a panel of expert speakers, followed by a question-and-answer session with the audience.
Kathleen Reardon brings a strong voice from the NH nonprofit sector. She has led the NH Center for Nonprofits since 2016 and works to support and strengthen nonprofits across the state. She has experience in business, public relations, and community outreach, and has served on several nonprofit boards and state advisory groups. Kathleen will talk about how these big policy changes could affect nonprofits and the important work they do in New Hampshire.
Other featured speakers include:
Stephen McAllister, Vice President of the Eastern Region at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. He will share insights on national business policy and how it may affect New England.
Chase Hagaman, Director of the Division of Economic Development at the NH Department of Business and Economic Affairs. He will talk about how the state is planning for economic growth in this changing environment.
The forum is sponsored by Unitil and hosted by the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce. It’s a great opportunity to hear from experts, ask questions, and learn how current events may shape our state’s economy.
