The Moore Center is seeking a Director of Family Directed Services (FDS) to oversee Participant Directed and Managed Services (PDMS) and Personal Care Services (PCS) in accordance with all applicable rules and standards set forth in regulations He-M 525 and He-M 521. Will guide individuals and their families in creating the program that will meet the individuals’ needs, including oversight of budget creation. Additionally will provide direct supervision to managers and administrative staff, and act as The Moore Center’s representative to NH Bureau of Developmental Services and other community and state-level organizations as it relates to FDS.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field required
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience working with people with disabilities and/or behavioral health issues required
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience required
  • Ensure that PDMS and PCS service providers are in compliance with the regulations set forth in He-M 521, He-M 525 and all other applicable agency policies and procedures
  • Complete all necessary documentation in order to set up an individual’s PDMS and PCS program
  • Meet with potential provider, consumer, representative and case manager to explain PDMS/PCS contract process prior to actual start date of the program
  • Ensure that FDS team is working with Human Resources to appropriately guide the search for service providers
  • Identify and track FDS department’s financial needs and develop departmental budget utilizing agency software
  • Oversee tracker for client budgets and troubleshoot any issues as they arise utilizing all available agency resources for assistance
  • Facilitate proper communication with Case Management department and Business Office to ensure appropriate service provision and accurate billing and payments
  • Develop contracts in compliance with He-M 521, He-M 525, and review contracts with all involved parties before submitting contracts to Vice President for Agency approval
  • Ensure The Moore Center’s participation in regional and state-level collaborations and workgroups related to FDS
  • Hire, train and supervise FDS department managers and administrative assistant
