Keynote
Truth-Telling, Light-Sharing + the New Narrative of Nonprofit Leadership
In a time when leadership feels heavier and the nonprofit sector faces unprecedented challenges, keynote speaker Becky Endicott, co-founder of the We Are For Good, will offer a moment of clarity, connection, and renewed purpose. Join us for an honest, hope-filled session that calls nonprofit leaders to reclaim the stories that shape their work and to lead with light. Through powerful storytelling, timely insights, and actionable takeaways, we’ll confront the truths of today, ignite a new narrative for tomorrow, and remind each other of the deep purpose that brought us here in the first place.
About the Presenter
Becky Endicott is a mom, co-founder, and Chief Storyteller of We Are For Good—a transformative media and social impact movement created to lift and empower the global community of nonprofit and social impact professionals. Since co-founding We Are For Good in 2020 with Jon McCoy, she’s helped grow a simple podcast into a global movement, reaching millions through accessible education, authentic storytelling, and meaningful community. With 20+ years in fundraising, marketing, and leadership across sectors like healthcare, higher ed, youth programs, and the arts, Becky champions ethical storytelling and radical connection as tools for healing and systems change. She’s a bridge-builder who believes generosity changes everyone involved—something she’s witnessed thousands of times from the frontlines of impact work. Based in Ft Collins, CO with her wonderfully tolerant husband, two daughters (her personal “why”), and a rescue schnauzer named Dixie Dude, Becky thrives on deep conversations, slow jogs and connecting purpose-driven people. Her ADHD-powered brain is often found matchmaking ideas and humans, whether over coffee chats or in We Are For Good’s vibrant ecosystem. She serves on the boards of capracare and Gifting Brands and proudly supports causes like Hope Booth, Farmlink, OK Humane Society, She’s the First, and HONY Patreon through monthly giving. This isn’t a flex—it’s an invitation to join a movement of people who care deeply and show up with heart.

Navigating Today's Difficult Conversations for Nonprofits
In today’s unpredictable and increasingly polarized social and business landscapes, nonprofit staff and leaders are being faced with difficult conversations - about funding, priorities, diversity and inclusion, political vision, and more. These moments can feel high-stakes, emotionally charged, and hard to navigate, especially when opinions diverge and consensus feels elusive. When there is pressure to speak up, we may often struggle to respond, listen, or show empathy. And that is not a reflection of who we are or what we value. Join Carlota de Almeida for this session about meeting difficult conversations with more clarity, confidence, and care. Participants will learn practical tools and strategies to constructively engage in challenging discussions with stakeholders, the public, and the media. By focusing on empathy, active listening, and consensus-building, this workshop will help turn difficult conversations into opportunities for connection, understanding, and finding common ground.
