We have an immediate need for a Senior Director Events & Corporate Relations in Manchester, NH!

The successful candidate will research, plan, implement, and evaluate the success of fundraising events for the agency. We are looking for an experienced leader to join our team. This position works closely with leadership and collaborates with a number of different groups including volunteers of the organization, event committees and board members when appropriate.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Hire and supervision of Development/event fundraising staff.
  • Work with and coordinate the activities of the National and Regional Corporate Sponsors to maintain a friendly and cooperative relationship.
  • Assist in the planning, promotion and implementation of other public relations events or activities.
  • Assist in strategic departmental planning in conjunction with CDO and development staff.
  • Attend meetings with senior leadership, or represent Easterseals leadership at outside meetings, as requested.
  • Maintain contact with professional, civic service and fraternal groups to spread the word about the mission of Easterseals and how they can help support the financial needs of the Agency or the development of its programs. 
  • Work with volunteers to maximize development and public awareness activities.
  • Manage budgets.
  • Develop long-term strategies for cultivation of new donors.
  • Identify, cultivate and solicit donors, including individuals, businesses, and foundations.
  • Keep Agency staff aware of the events being carried out by the Development Department and involve them as volunteers whenever possible.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • At least five years of event management/fundraising experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Proficient in development tracking (Raisers Edge preferred) software and MS Office products
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance that meets our coverage requirements. 

Hours: This is a full time (40 hours) salaried position with a flexible schedule to accommodate occasional evening and weekend needs
