Associate Director

Greengard Center for Autism

The Greengard Center for Autism provides quality programs to enhance the lives of adults and adolescents with autism and their families in our community.  We seek to offer unique lifelong opportunities for individuals with autism to have a productive quality of life through ongoing education, meaningful work, and access to recreation, social and community acceptance and participation.


The Greengard Center for Autism has offered, since 2013, unique, lifelong opportunities for individuals with autism that are both family and community based. We provide a spectrum of services to adults, adolescents and children through our Day, Residential, Outreach and Group Programs.  Located in Portsmouth, NH we are an organization that provides our services  based on Applied Behavior Analysis and Positive Behavior Support in an environment that promotes warmth and acceptance.

We are searching for an Associate Director to join an administrative team that thrives on strong collaborative relationships.  In this position the Associate Director  will be working with a team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts, the Managers of our Day and Residential Programs, along with 20 Direct Service staff.  This opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional who is interested in being a part of an organization that promotes an exceptional working environment.  The Greengard Center for Autism values its employees along with providing best practices for our clients. Responsibilities include:

  • Administration of staff including our management and clinical teams.
  • Oversight of organizational budget.
  • Oversight of Program Development.
  • Maintaining and building relationships with the community.
  • Coordinating development projects through grants and fund raising.

Requirements:

The applicant should have some prior experience in the administration or management of a non-profit organization. Knowledge of services related to those with diabilities living in New Hampshire would be helpful, and prior experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder would be beneficial but not essential.
