Do you love working with children? Would you like to work with children, while directly supporting an organization that truly makes a lasting difference in their lives of those children and their families? New Generation, a program of Catholic Charities New Hampshire, is looking for a reliable and self-motivated Child Care Worker to join our team on a part-time basis.
Many pregnant and single mothers experience homelessness due to domestic violence, financial hardship, mental health issues and substance use, among other challenges. New Generation provides comprehensive support – including a family-oriented shelter, transitional housing and aftercare services – to empower mothers with the skills, confidence and resources to build self-sufficient lives for their families.
The Child Care Worker, is responsible for creating a safe and fun environment for the young children of our residents. To be successful in this role, you need to have a love for children, understand the principles of child development, be physically fit and able to care for their basic needs, and be informed about what to do in an emergency situation.
We offer a great work environment, where you can expect to experience how a mission-driven culture (where you’re a name/not number, are valued, strong sense of teamwork) enhances your overall sense of fulfillment in the work you do.
