Senior Manager of Individual Budgets

We’re growing and are now hiring a Senior Manager of Individual Budgets to develop, review and update individual rates and budgets consistent with new waivers.  You’ll work with various teams and will also acquire expertise in Developmental Disability, Acquired Brain Disorders and In-Home Supports waivers.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the human services field
  • Working knowledge of Developmental Disability System
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and budget development
  • Knowledge of individualized client budgets, Medicaid system and billing preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems; intermediate-level Excel skills
  • Create budgets for uploading to the Bureau of Developmental Services (BDS)
  • Use Budget Tracking System (BTS) to calculate adjustments in funding in the review and completion of individuals’ budgets
  • Review budget, proposal and statement of need of each packet to ensure all are in agreement and caps are not exceeded
  • Participate in P1 review of packets to determine if individual will go on Wait List
  • Review and evaluate budgets for reasonable expenses
  • Ensure staffed hours in the budget are consistent with services being provided
  • Calculate Medicaid revenues (rates and units) that ensures all expenses are being reimbursed
