Looking for an opportunity to give back to your community?  Work-life balance a priority?  We have an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join our team! 

As Controller, you will manage day to day accounting activities, provider oversight and mentoring to our 4 member accounting team, as well as work in cooperation with the other members of Senior Management.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure regulatory, GAAP accounting and policy/procedure compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team
  • Prepare and manage period closing activities
  • Maintain accurate G/L
  • Ensure accurate/timely reporting
  • Provide financial analysis
  • Assist with budget preparation
  • Preparing for and participating in the annual audit
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Management required with minimum 5 years accounting experience. Supervisory experience is required.  Prefer experience in grant accounting/management.  Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization. The ability to work both very independently and as part of a team, a high level of computer proficiency, meticulous attention to detail, and outstanding organizational skills.  Microsoft Dynamics and QuickBooks experience preferred.
