Rate of pay range: $22-25/hr. commensurate with experience

Position Overview:

The Donor Engagement Manager will play a critical role in ensuring we meet our fundraising goals by managing a portfolio of donors/prospects who have the interest and capacity to support Krempels Center’s mission.

Requirements:

Skills and Competencies Required:

  • Stellar communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Strong interpersonal/collaboration skills.
  • Proven self-management/initiative.
  • Experience with social media: platforms, best practices, and growth.
  • Proficiency with donor management database, i.e., Little Green Light.
  • Microsoft 365 suite proficiency.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

  • Able to work offsite majority of the time.
  • Able to lift/maneuver up to 20 pounds on occasion, and at varying heights.
  • Some nights / weekend work required.
  • Must have own transportation, a valid driver’s license, and adequate insurance.
Responsibilities:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for refining and executing a major gift strategy in partnership with the Development Director and Executive Director. Oversight of this strategy will include the identification and qualification of major donors through stewardship of major gifts.
  • Manage and solicit a portfolio of 75-100 major gift level donors and prospects
  • Identify and qualify new prospects for assignment to the major gifts portfolio.
  • Meet with and/or connect with donors and prospects on regular basis.
  • Directly solicit major and planned gifts.
  • Track portfolio activity and progress, as well as create reports in CRM as required by management.
  • Collaborate with key staff to develop a wide range of cultivation, solicitation, acknowledgement, and stewardship collateral materials.
  • Support organization’s fundraising and marketing events and initiatives as a member of the development team.
  • Assist in formulation of budgets for major giving program and other special initiatives as needed.
  • Act as an ambassador for the mission and organization.
  • All other duties as assigned.
