Nonprofit/Child Care Lender

New Hampshire Community Loan Fund

We are a nationally recognized as an innovator in the community development field and have a rich history of providing capital and education for N.H. citizens to establish home ownership, business growth, child care, and cooperatives formed to secure access to affordable housing, among other initiatives. Are you interested in making a big difference in N.H. communities?

If you’re a professional with a strong business and finance background and a passion for strengthening N.H.’s child care and nonprofit organizations, this is a unique opportunity. We seek someone willing to learn the methods and impact of our past work, then use their skills and insight to make the program their own.

The successful candidate will create strategic lending and technical assistance plans for these  organizations, focusing on the financial details to make these commercial loan transactions flow smoothly. In addition, they will ideally have experience coaching or managing others in either the child care or nonprofit space; experience in both is even better.

Finally, we need a strong communicator who wants to be a leader and policy advocate in the community and a mentor to their internal team. They will be accountable for creating and fostering relationships in N.H.’s nonprofit and child care communities, as well as collaborating with funders and our philanthropy team to ensure funding resources.

The successful candidate will train in our Concord office, then transition into a hybrid role of time in the office, in the community, and potentially work from their home.

We strongly encourage applications and candidates from underrepresented groups as we continue to build our commitment to diversity and inclusion. Bilingual fluency is preferred.

We offer a comprehensive and competitive compensation package with excellent benefits and the opportunity to work in a fun, fast-paced, supportive atmosphere.
