As a mental health advocacy organization, and as a member of the New Hampshire COVID-19 Vaccine Alliance, NAMI New Hampshire wholeheartedly supports the full implementation of the State of New Hampshire’s comprehensive vaccination plan to stop the spread of COVID-19.  The pandemic and efforts to prevent COVID-19’s spread through social distancing and other mitigation measures have significantly impacted the mental health of Granite Staters of all ages.  As such, NAMI NH sees full implementation of the vaccine plan as critical to the physical and mental health of our families and communities, and integral to decreasing suicide risk statewide. 





We need an Accounting Clerk to work part-time, approximately 20 hours per week in our Concord, NH office. This role will be responsible for assisting with general accounting, accounts payable/receivable billing, and credit card statements reconciliation.

Education and Experience

  • Two-year degree or equivalent education and experience, preferably in a non-profit environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Abila MIP, and Salsa Fundraising or other similar accounting and fundraising software.
  • High level of accuracy & attention to detail.
  • Above-average proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of products and virtual meeting software.
  • Ability to develop, track, transfer, and access information related to work through navigating different cloud-based systems as directed.


  • Assist with grant & contract billing, monthly statement processing, and other billing tasks as assigned by the Staff Accountant.
  • Reconcile monthly employee credit card purchases with supporting documentation.
  • Prepare Accounts Receivable reconciliations.
  • Communicate with all levels of management.
  • Other projects and/or duties as required.


Physical and Travel

  • While performing the duties of this job, it is regularly required to talk or hear along with frequently standing; walking; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • This role cannot be performed virtually and requires the successful candidate to perform these duties onsite at our 85 North State Street, Concord, NH 03301 location.
