Job Summary:
The Coalition Program Coordinator will lead the facilitation of all program activities of the New Hampshire Coalition to End Homelessness (NHCEH).  This role assists with marketing, organizing trainings, communication, and administrative oversight.  This position will be a liaison between community stake holders and the organization.

 

The NH Coalition to End Homelessness (NHCEH), is a nonprofit organization under the umbrella of Families in Transition with the primary focus to provide research, education, and advocacy for homelessness in New Hampshire.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements (Education/Experience/Certificates/Licenses): 

  • Associates Degree; Bachelor’s degree Preferred; preferably in social services or communications
  • Experience in project management; ability to oversee multiple projects once.
  • 1-year experience in marketing or communications preferred
  • Flexible work schedule.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Criminal Background Check
Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee and coordinate program activities for the New Hampshire Coalition to End Homelessness; assist with marketing and support Director with fundraising initiatives to drive support and awareness of the program.
  • Coordinate trainings for homeless, housing and social services providers; be a liaison with trainer and attendees for implementation of details and logistics for successful training.  
  • Act as a resource in activities impacting homelessness in New Hampshire.
  • Assist internal stakeholders with assessment, review and design/compilation of the State of Homelessness Annual Report; Provide project management, managing timelines, overseeing project completion and quality control; Lead all marketing of report release. 
  • Assist in other research projects as identified by the Coalition.
  • Oversee programs such as ‘Hope Starts Here’ scholarship and ‘Granite Leaders’ to drive partnerships and ultimate success of the mission.  Assist with program communication, marketing, logistics/details, constituent relations, and project management for program implementation.
  • Represent the agency as necessary at events and in the community to drive awareness and support of the New Hampshire Coalition to End Homelessness program.
  • Assist in the coordination of community organizing work including taskforce or workgroups developed to address New Hampshire Coalition to End Homelessness initiatives.
  • Assist with communication to the New Hampshire Coalition to End Homelessness Board of Directors and with coordination of Board of Director meetings.   Support, organize and provide board documentation for Board member.
  • Help to manage and design content for social media accounts, email blasts, website, and other forms of communication produced by the New Hampshire Coalition to End Homelessness.
  • Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic and motivating presence at all times.
  • Participate in in-service training.
  • Maintain and promote professionalism, in accordance with the Families in Transition Employee Handbook
  • Uphold and promote Families in Transition mission.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
