Lead Teacher/Childcare Provider (Part-time)

The Children’s Place and Parent Education Center in Concord NH in coordination with Waypoint is seeking a creative and nurturing early childhood lead teacher. If you have experience as the lead classroom teacher of young children, enjoy developing an environment full of fun and creativity, and can work collaboratively with parents and staff, then you may be the right person to join our expanding team!   The ideal candidate will be able to develop and implement a play-based curriculum based on each child’s needs and interests as well as create a warm, positive, and fun environment where exploration and individuality is encouraged.  The lead teacher will have the ability to build strong partnerships with parents and work collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators.  

This is a part time position, 29 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8:30AM- 2:00PM.

  • Meet NH Childcare Licensing Standards for Lead Teacher: College courses totaling 18 credits in child development, early childhood or elementary education, or other field of study focused on children, with three credits in child growth and development.   
  • Understanding of NH Early Learning Standards  
  • CPR and First Aid training (or the ability to obtain it within 60 days of hire).
