B-8 Early Child Care Education (ECCE) Team Coordinator

Coordinate, facilitate and assist the B-8 ECCE Team

Requirements:
  • Lived experience as a parent of young child/children served by the NH Early Childhood System.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with families of young children, professionals serving young children and community stakeholders.
  • Able to serve as a positive role model.
  • Sensitive and non-judgmental regarding cultural diversity or individual family differences, preferences and lifestyles.
  • Ability to develop plans, organize ideas, and generate written reports. 
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Self- directed and motivated. Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Experience with virtual platforms such as Zoom, google meet, etc.
  • Skilled in use of Microsoft Office and other technologies
  • Acknowledges own limitations.

 

Educational Preference: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Human Services, Communications or related field, or the equivalent of such.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support that includes:

  • Convene Team meetings; Organize and publicize meetings.
  • Provide Team members with information to access meetings remotely; Record meeting notes.
  • Co-Lead the Team in partnership with the Chair; Assist the Team with developing, reviewing, implementing and refining a charter.
  • Support and facilitate the work of the Team’
  • Support the development of leadership skills within stakeholders.
  • Seek ongoing involvement from stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Facilitate engagement and communication between members of the B-8 ECCE Advisory Team, The Council for Thriving Children and stakeholders.
  • Perform other appropriate tasks as assigned.
