Residential Loan Underwriter

New Hampshire Community Loan Fund

In this position, you will provide a critical function to the Welcome Home Loan single-family mortgage team by evaluating borrowers for appropriate credit decisions. In addition, you will provide backup support to the servicing position on the team. If you are a problem-solver, can multi-task, and are a customer-service leader, this is your chance to combine mortgage loan underwriting with making a difference in your community.

To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for our mission, excitement for bettering N.H. communities, and experience in the banking or mortgage industry in mortgage loan underwriting, preferably with portfolio loans. You must also be proficient in data entry with Microsoft’s Office Suite and loan origination software skills. Also needed are strong communication skills, good humor, the ability to work remotely, and being a flexible team player. Strong bilingual/Spanish language skills are a plus.
