Job Summary:
Greater Nashua Mental Health (GNMH) is looking for a full-time IT Operations Support Specialist to join our team! The IT Operations Support Specialist is responsible for supporting identified GNMH operational concerns (e.g. user and system support) and assigned IT projects and related tasks. The IT Operations Support Specialist assists GNMH and its staff in using technology and data management systems for meeting role associated responsibilities to efficiently realize identified strategic objectives and organizational goals.  Responsibilities include supporting systems and operations consistent with development of valid and reliable data and ensuring the accessibly of information technology assets including but not limited to; electronic medical records, document management, reporting, telecommunications, other electronic systems and network assets.  

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Working with Clinical Systems and Applications (e.g. Electronical Medical Record / EHR / EMR) to facilitate operations; including user setup, security, template/form development, reference files configuration, and communicating system operational concerns or concerns relative to system backup/disaster planning operations.
• Supporting IT activities related to reporting and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives.  Develop and/or implement validation routines which improve data reliability and validity.  Work with appropriate staff to train and correct issues that arise.
• Developing and supporting tools to enhance operations and improve communication. Work with staff to document workflows, create training materials for IT related processes and applications.
• Supporting and Training end users; responding to support requests, resolves or escalates requests as appropriate, develops and maintains information technology support resources, planning/coordinating/providing training; trains appropriate staff on identified applications, collaboratively work with users to develop appropriate support resources.
• Working collaboratively with the IT team, responsible for situational coverage of identified duties of other information technology staff.  Assists with user support requests which may include, device set ups, troubleshooting, data entry etc.
• Monitoring and coordinating activities of a project/work initiative with team(s) to ensure that tasks and interdependencies are communicated, tracked and met. 
• Creates and maintains documentation as directed for identified GNMH assets and resources, workflows, processes, applications, and/or documentation consistent with meeting IT departmental responsibilities.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Psychology, IT or related field, preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience and/or coursework in one or more of the following areas or equivalent; Customer service, Information Technology, Data Management, Healthcare related field (Behavioral health preference). 
• Experience with various aspects of operating systems, database operations, report writing, troubleshooting and system analysis.
• Experience in and interest in working in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills, work proactively, adapt quickly to application and workflow changes.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive.
