We are seeking a Human Resources Director to oversee the operation of the Human Resources department, including but not limited to benefits, employment, employee relations and workforce development.  Assist Senior Leadership Team in developing and implementing strategic initiatives as they relate to HR.  Provide policy recommendations to Senior Leadership, and communicate and interpret policy for employees.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of 8 – 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources (with direct management experience preferred). Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred.


Additional responsibilities include:

· Provide oversight to HR staff conducting the recruitment and on-boarding process. Participate in hiring for key positions with the Agency

· Collaborate with Director of Communications and Training regarding staff development and training

· Assist Chief Financial Officer with review and negotiation of annual benefit renewals

· Participate in quarterly workers’ compensation reviews and oversee implementation of educational programs related to employee safety

· Develop Agency personnel policies and conduct regular reviews of the manual to ensure the policies are current and relevant

· Investigate employee concerns and complaints in a prompt and efficient manner ensuring compliance with Agency’s Complaint Resolution Policy.

· Administer compensation program

· Participate in Senior Leadership Team meetings to provide input as needed including current information and industry standards relative to employment policies
