Toddler Teacher, Concord, NH

The Children’s Place and Parent Education Center in Concord NH in coordination with Waypoint is now seeking applicants for a creative and nurturing early childhood lead teacher. If you have experience as the Toddler classroom teacher of young children, enjoy developing an environment full of fun and creativity, and can work collaboratively with parents and staff, then you may be the right person to join our expanding team!   

Candidates will:  

*Be able to develop and implement a play-based curriculum based on each child’s individual needs and interests.  

*Create a warm, positive and fun environment where exploration and individuality is encouraged.  

*Have the ability to build strong partnerships with parents and work collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators.  

This is a part time position (up to 29 hours per week with the potential to become full-time) with earned time off and paid holidays. The Children’s Place in located in Concord, NH. Candidates are asked to engage in a criminal background check. Waypoint is an equal opportunity employer


Skills and Education Required:  

*Meet NH Childcare Licensing Standards for Lead Teacher.  **A minimum of 18 credits in child development, early childhood or elementary education, or other field of study focused on children from a regionally accredited college or university, including at least 3 credits in child growth and development. 

*Understanding of NH Early Learning Standards  

*CPR and First Aid training (or the ability to obtain it within 60 days of hire).
