Vice President of Public Affairs - New Hampshire
Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) is the largest reproductive health care and sexuality education provider and advocate in northern New England with 21 health centers across Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) is seeking an experienced and innovative candidate to fill a Vice President of Public Affairs position based in New Hampshire. This position will oversee public policy, advocacy, communications, organizing and electoral activities for PPNNE and its affiliated entities in New Hampshire. The pay range for this position starts at $85,000/yr with potential to increase from there based on level of experience and full range of benefits.
The VP of Public Affairs in NH will work closely with the Senior VP of Public Affairs to construct a strategic public affairs agenda aligned with PPNNE’s vision and lead this work in New Hampshire. Primary responsibilities include identifying public policy issues that impact the delivery of PPNNE’s health care & education services and the communities served, and work with Public Affairs staff and Management Team to design strategies to improve our delivery of care and respond to the needs of PPNNE patients and communities we serve. This role will also serve as a senior spokesperson and media liaison for PPNNE, PPNH AF and PAC and supervise communications/media/social media outreach for policy, organizing and political matters, provide oversight to the expansion of & direct the work of the PPNNE/PPN NH Action Fund & its advocacy and lead the NH Public Affairs team in preparation of electoral strategy and political action work. Additional duties include developing strategic partnerships with outside constituencies and communities including health care leaders, community organizations, government agencies and PPFA and identifying opportunities and foster relationships for effective coalition building to educate & activate organizations and the general public about Planned Parenthood health services, advocacy and organizing as well as partner with organizations engaged in responding to communities we serve.
Qualifications include an educational diploma/certificate/degree in an appropriate discipline coupled in combination with 5+ years’ relevant public policy, campaign and organizing experience in a non-profit/issue advocacy setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired. Ideal candidates will have experience working with people from diverse ethnic, linguistic, socioeconomic and cultural communities, as well as a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and the intersection with health and social justice.
