Producing Support Coordinator

NAMI New Hampshire

The National Alliance on Mental Illness New Hampshire (NAMI NH) is a statewide, grassroots non-profit comprised of a network of affiliate chapters and support groups, staff, and volunteers that provide information, education, and support to all families and communities affected by mental illness. NAMI NH’s public policy work includes advocacy for health insurance coverage and access to comprehensive, integrated health care and community-based supports without discrimination or stigma for all who are affected by mental illness. This is a part-time temporary position currently expected to last through June 30, 2021.


The Producing Support Coordinator will provide direct technical and administrative support to NAMI New Hampshire presenters for the full life cycle of live training and presentations, across all NAMI New Hampshire programming offerings.

This is an hourly, as-needed position to support the training and meeting needs of the Organization.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience with multiple virtual training platforms as an administrator, and/or host utilizing all interactive options.
  • Demonstrated writing, public speaking, training, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use a computer to develop, track, transfer, and access information related to work using Microsoft Office & Google Suite products.
  • Strong experience with virtual meeting/training platforms like Zoom, GoTo Meetings, Microsoft Teams
  • Has available, reliable transportation and willing to travel, and have a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

Programmatic:

  • Schedule training utilizing the appropriate platform, including but not limited to GoToWebinar, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet.
  • Confirm registrations and ensure accurate links and preparation materials are sent to participants in advance of the sessions.
  • Prepare for training sessions through testing in advance for connectivity issues, quality of materials being presented, and sound quality.
  • Serve as a host assistant during training sessions by facilitating the materials presentation, monitoring chat rooms, polls, questions, and answer sections to support the host during the session.
  • Provide live support for technical issues to participants.
  • Ensure meetings/presentations remain on schedule and moderate when necessary to ensure time commitments are met.
  • Facilitate utilizing platforms to support breakout rooms and administer these in accordance with the host's plan.
  • Monitor regional and national service and/or network outages that may impact scheduled training sessions and support platform changes/rescheduling training as needed.

 

Administrative:

  • Provide follow-up information to participants as determined to be appropriate by the host which may include recordings of the sessions, certificates, and any other materials.
  • Following each session, prepare and execute training surveys to obtain feedback on the content, delivery, and effectiveness of the presented materials.
  • Attend events/meetings as assigned to support content delivery.
