Lakes Region Mental Health Center (LRMHC) is the community mental health center serving Belknap and southern Grafton Counties. We provide services to 24 surrounding towns, and nearly 4,000 patients each year. A non-profit, private corporation founded in 1966, Lakes Region Mental Health Center is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors dedicated to our mission.  We provide integrated mental and physical health care to children, adults, elders and their families who are living with – and recovering from- mental illness and/or emotional distress. Our dedicated professionals provide the highest quality of healthcare and collaborate with many other organizations in the region to improve access to care and meet the mental health needs of the community. By working in partnership with other health care providers, hospitals, law enforcement, corrections, courts, school districts, social workers and public health officials, we are able to provide a continuum of care for our patients and improve the quality of life in the Lakes Region.

This is a great opportunity to apply your clinical skills while treating adults with a wide variety of mental health concerns as well as some adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Clinician will act as a primary point of contact, perform preliminary assessments and triage of patients seeking services at Lakes Region Mental Health and Lakes Region Counseling Associates.  Clinician will perform a wide range of administrative and clinical duties in support of centralized admission process.

You’ll be part of a dedicated team of professionals that demonstrate our core values of respect, advocacy, integrity, stewardship, and excellence for our community, patients, and the agency’s health.


Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services or other related field required. 6 to 12 months working as a Master’s level clinician preferred.


•Assessments, psychotherapeutic interventions, case coordination, crisis intervention.
•Develop and implement treatment plans.
•Prepare and maintain required clinical and administrative documentation.
•Coordination of care between clinician and providers.
