Spaulding Academy & Family Services is a leading provider of educational, residential, therapeutic and foster care programs and services for children and youth with neurological, emotional, behavioral, learning or developmental challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and those who have experienced significant trauma, abuse or neglect. Established in 1958, our spacious campus is located on nearly 500 acres in Northfield, NH and welcomes boys and girls from 5 to 21.

LPNs and RNs if you are looking to work with exceptional students in a spectacular setting, Spaulding Academy & Family Services has full time, part time and per diem positions currently available. We offer schedule flexibility but we are seeking individuals who have availability for at least 2 Sundays per month and afternoon/evening shifts. Our team shares on-call responsibilities.

Established in 1871, Spaulding Academy & Family Services is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit that was formerly known as Spaulding Youth Center since 1958. Our scenic hilltop campus is located on nearly 500 acres in Northfield, NH and welcomes boys and girls from ages 4 to 21 from around the state of New Hampshire and beyond. In addition to programs provided on our Northfield campus, Spaulding’s community based programs include foster family licensing, Individual Service Option (ISO) foster care, ISO in-home services, child health support services and more, for children ages 0 to 20 and their family.

Requirements:

Experience with pediatric, psychiatric and neurobehavioral concerns are helpful. Previous experience working in an academic setting, long-term care or a pediatric medical setting is helpful. Applicants must possess an active New Hampshire RN or LPN license.

Daily temperature checks, social distancing, mask wearing and hand hygiene are required. All visitors to the campus must participate in a COVID questionnaire. Daily deep cleaning is done to maintain our COVID-free environment.

Responsibilities:

Our Health Services department is vital to the overall health, education and well-being of our students and their families and our staff. Overall duties will include: medication administration and monitoring; assessments for illness and general first aid; lots of temperature checks for fevers as we continue to be COVID free on our campus; education to families, staff and students.
