The Moore Center has a rewarding opportunity for a Manager of Community Support Services/Community Connections to manage the range of services that provide support to clients of The Moore Center who participate in Community Connections and Community Support Services.

 

Based in Manchester, New Hampshire, the Moore Center is a state and regional innovator with more than 60 years of experience in helping people become productive, fulfilled members of the community. Working closely with each individual, The Moore Center identifies unique needs and creates individualized programs to enhance that person’s quality of life and that of the community as a whole.

This is a full-time position in the Greater Manchester area.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Services (or related field)
  • 3 years’ experience in the field of Human Services (Developmental Services preferred)
  • 1 year management experience (including hiring, training, and supervising staff) Experience with curriculum development and implementation preferred 
  • Valid driver’s license, $100,000/300,00 Automobile Liability Insurance, and access to a safe operating vehicle during scheduled working hours
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train and supervise Direct Support Professionals and Community Support Specialists
  • Ensure all new staff are trained and signed off on client profiles, service agreements and goals prior to working with the individual(s)
  • Attend service agreement meetings prepared to present goals and report on client employment, progress on individual goals, challenges and service outcomes
  • Collaborate with the Community-Based Services (CBS) management team to assess and match clients with staff that will ensure the highest benefit to the individuals and their goals
  • Collaborate with families, individuals and community partners to ensure full and robust activity schedules for clients in all programs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of both virtual and in-person classes
  • Maintain consistent contact with families to ensure a high-level of communication and customer service
