Spaulding Academy & Family Services is a leading provider of educational, residential, therapeutic and foster care programs and services for children and youth with neurological, emotional, behavioral, learning or developmental challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and those who have experienced significant trauma, abuse or neglect. Established in 1958, our spacious campus is located on nearly 500 acres in Northfield, NH and welcomes boys and girls from 5 to 21.

To support program expansion, Spaulding Academy & Family Services has a wonderful opportunity for a motivated, energetic and experienced Residential House Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the day to day operations of one of our residential houses, will be accountable for training and direct supervision to staff, and will participate in student management that will include implementing behavioral and cognitive training and programming and crisis management. The Residential House Manager will also be responsible for staff payroll and for providing input to the Residential Director with budget development.

Requirements:

Requirements include supervisory experience, a bachelor degree in Human Service (or a related field) and five (5) years experience in human services in a residential setting. In lieu of a bachelor degree, we will consider candidates with an associate’s degree in Human Services and seven (7) years related experience, along with in-service and additional training.

Responsibilities:

Successful candidates for the Residential House Manager role will have exemplary job performance and proven evidence of professional expertise and competent decision-making. Exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to details, and a positive and outgoing personality are essential to manage a diverse population of staff and students.
