Weatherization Support Coordinator

Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties

Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties, Inc. is a non-profit organizaiton dedicated to helping meet the needs of individuals, families and elderly statewide and in particular Merrimack and Belknap Counties. 

The Weatherization Support Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Housing Rehabilitation and Energy Conservation with the support, planning, implementation and evaluation of all Weatherization related activities, and acts as general support to the Administrative Assistant and Weatherization Energy Auditors/Quality Control Inspectors. This will be accomplished in accordance with local, state and federal program guidelines and requirements, with attention to the concerns and needs of the community.

  • Strong computer, phone, organizational and filing skills.
  • Familiarity with general accounting practices and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Experience in tracking funding/projects, generating reports and record keeping.
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritize duties and meet deadlines.
  • Must be self-motivated and punctual.
  • Must possess proficient existing knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), ZOOM or similar video conferencing platforms.
  • Answer telephone, refer callers to the appropriate member for assistance, and provide information to callers.
  • Assists with scheduling, filing, and researching previous or potential future clients and projects.
  • Assists in ensuring a smooth workflow that will help allow for timely and accurate processing of projects, work orders, purchase orders, and other required reporting and documentation.
  • Willingness and ability to learn the limitations and guidelines of multiple funding sources and other related program information.
  • Occasional travel within New Hampshire, or out-of-state to related conferences and/or seminars may be required. (Travel is dependent on current COVID-19 status).

The following items are required:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable mode of transportation, and maintain insurance with at least $100,000/$300,000 levels of coverage as travel throughout assigned region(s) and around the state will be required on a regular basis.  Mileage will be reimbursed each pay period at a rate approved by the agency.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the candidate is required to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods of time. Repetitively use hands to finger, handle, or feel, including operation of a standard computer keyboard; reach with hands and arms. Talk, see and hear; and lift and carry up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in business related field, or equivalent experience, High School Diploma, GED or HiSET.

This position is based in Concord, in a shared office setting, as part of a team, and independently as needed. Periodic meetings may be held at various locations throughout New Hampshire. There is also the potential for site visits to client homes and other project locations.

Mon-Fri, Full-time, 37.5 hours/week. Offer of employment is dependent on N.H. criminal history background check. Starting wage will be dependent on level of experience and enthusiasm. Flex schedule during core business hours may be available at the discretion of the Program Director.
