Summary Statement 

The Health Screener is an extension of the Administrative department and works directly with clients, patients, staff and visitors coming into the CLM facility.   Wearing personal protective equipment, the Administrative Technician will be stationed at the entry and will facilitate taking temperatures and asking screening questions related to COVID-19 of all clients, patients, staff and visitors entering our building.  This is a temporary position with an undetermined end date.  Multiple positions are available.  Shifts are considered part-time, with the morning shift hours being 8:00 – 12:30 and the afternoon shift being 12:30 – 5, Monday – Friday.  This position is non-benefit eligible. 


Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to answer questions regarding departments and locations within our building.
  • Prior experience within a fast-paced customer service environment is required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required. 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Candidate must be capable of performing multiple, competing tasks under stressful situations. The job requires a significant amount of time spent standing; candidate must be capable of using a visual display terminal with continuous wrist movement on a keyboard and mouse.


Major Functional Areas and Description of Duties

  • Greeting all clients, patients, staff and visitors entering our facility;
  • Taking temperatures with appropriate technology.  This may be a handheld device or other technology;
  • Asking screening questions to assess risk of having COVID-19 or associated symptoms;
  • Fielding questions from clients and visitors and directing them to the appropriate person or place;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
