Impaired Driver Care Management Program: Program Assistant

North Country Health Consortium

The North Country Health Consortium (NCHC) is a dynamic and innovative non-profit organization created in 1997 as a vehicle for addressing common issues through collaboration among health and human service providers serving Northern New Hampshire. NCHC is engaged in activities for:

  • solving common problems and facilitating regional solutions
  • creating and facilitating services and programs to improve population health status
  • health professional training, continuing education and management services to encourage sustainability of the health care infrastructure
  • increasing capacity for local public health essential services
  • increasing access to health care for underserved and uninsured residents of Northern New Hampshire

Residents in NH convicted of an impaired driving offense are required to participate in a state-approved Impaired Driver Care Management Program (IDCMP), where screening and evaluation will determine if participation in treatment, education, and/or recovery support services is indicated. The IDCMP Assistant position is a full-time opportunity. 

Requirements:
  • Time-management skills, including ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Ability to handle sensitive information following Federal and State confidentiality laws
  • Verbal/phone and writing communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational and planning skills
  • Typing skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Team player
  • Willingness to travel within northern NH, as required
  • Minimum of Associate’s Degree
Responsibilities:

• Organize Impaired Driver Education program classes • Manage calendar/appointments for supervisor and counselors, scheduling initial intake screening and evaluations with program participants • Administer intake appointments and conduct care management calls for program participants • Administrative and clerical support including, but not limited to, assisting with preparation of reports and composing letter and email communications.
