Data Manager

NH Children's Trust

The mission of the New Hampshire Children’s Trust (NHCT) is to ensure safe, stable, nurturing relationships and environments for children by educating, advocating, and collaborating. We envision a New Hampshire where all children grow up free from abuse and neglect.

Working with the Senior Program Director and evaluation consultants, the Data Manager will operate, manage, and expand the design of the current data system to accommodate an evolving and complex array of projects, and will maintain effective communication and relationships with internal/external stakeholders. The Data Manager will support data quality; produce data reports and interpret data in usable graphs and report templates; provide technical support to Family Resource Centers (FRCs) and other stakeholders as appropriate.


Content expertise in family strengthening and support or another human services field, aswell as a master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education, is preferred.
●Experience in data administration and management functions (collection, analysis,distribution etc.)
●Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies-competency with Quickbase platforms a plus
●Experience providing customer service in-person, on phone and web-based required(data and/or web tech support preferred)
●Knowledge base and experience in data entry/analysis and interpretation required
●Extremely proficient in using Excel to create complex, linked spreadsheets that pull datafrom multiple data sources required
●Excellent communication (verbal and written), listening and analytical skills
●Conscientious, organized and very detail-oriented
●Strong working knowledge of datamanagement systems, Microsoft Office, includingWord, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
●Strong facilitation and presentation skills
●Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and projects and to assess andchange priorities based upon agency needs
●Strong skills working with ad-hoc and formal teams to accomplish positive results


1. Operate, manage, and expand the design of NHCT’s data platform for the purpose of supporting quality improvement and data integration efforts.
2. Coordination and data collection support--works closely with the Sr. Program Director and evaluators
a. Coordinate and align data collection efforts with relevant partners including Comprehensive Family Support Programs, NH Maternal Infant Early Childhood Home Visiting/Healthy Families America Home Visiting Programs, and Community Collaboration to Strengthen and Preserve Families Programs.
b.Develop and facilitate data collection training curriculum and/or modules.
c.Provide day-to-day support to FRCs assure data quantity and data quality.
3.Support relevant reporting requirements
a.Monitor and support the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data
b.Maintain and refine cloud-based data platform via QuickBase software
c.Assist in preparation of data briefs, report writing, and other products
d.Interfacing with external evaluation consultants, who will provide ongoing support for thisposition with database design, data analysis, evaluation, and reporting expertise
e.Provide administrative support for data fidelity, analysis, and interpretation of data.
4.Additional Responsibilities
a.Actively participate in all meetings to provide positive input and contribute to problem solving.
b.Maintain professionalism in line with NHCT policies and standards.
c.Participate in sub-committees and workgroups as needed.
d.Maintain high level of confidentiality as it relates to the agency and all records/documents.
