ProHealth Research Interviewer

Greater Nashua Mental Health

Established in 1920, Greater Nashua Mental Health has as its mission: empowering individuals to lead full and satisfying lives through treatment and support. Our agency provides comprehensive, evidence-based behavioral health services for individuals with mental health and/or substance misuse disorders. We offer a wide array of services in office and community settings, serving adults and children.  As the State-designated Community Mental Health Center for Southern Hillsborough County, we serve everyone who walks in our doors, and no one is ever turned away due to the inability to pay for services.  Without our agency, many of the most vulnerable members of our community would not have access to critically needed behavioral health care.   We believe that by respecting people as they are, we can help them to become all that they wish to be.

The ProHealth Research Interviewer is responsible for collecting information from individuals participating in the ProHealth NH study. This fulltime position will be responsible for conducting NOMS and ProHealth NH assessments at enrollment and every six months, and collecting Breathe Well, Live Well and Healthy Choices, Healthy Changes assessments at baseline, 4, 8, and 12 months. 

Other duties include: obtaining or confirming informed consent from participants, scheduling interview sessions, tracking progress / completion of interview sessions and data collection, obtaining information from site electronic medical records, coordinating site-specific research activities, protecting participants’ confidentiality, and other activities as required.

The Interviewer should have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively as a team member and have the ability to relate to and successfully interview project participants

Qualifications include a Background in human services or social services and experience working with people with serious mental illness. Prior experience with research and/or interviewing, project-related work involving complex scheduling and communications is preferred. A Bachelor's degree, with experience in mental health and/or research is preferred.
