Therapist, Integrated Care

Greater Nashua Mental Health

Established in 1920, Greater Nashua Mental Health has as its mission: empowering individuals to lead full and satisfying lives through treatment and support. Our agency provides comprehensive, evidence-based behavioral health services for individuals with mental health and/or substance misuse disorders. We offer a wide array of services in office and community settings, serving adults and children.  As the State-designated Community Mental Health Center for Southern Hillsborough County, we serve everyone who walks in our doors, and no one is ever turned away due to the inability to pay for services.  Without our agency, many of the most vulnerable members of our community would not have access to critically needed behavioral health care.   We believe that by respecting people as they are, we can help them to become all that they wish to be.

We have a fulltime therapist opportunity available working within our Child, Adolescent & Family Services (CAFS) program to support the provision of integrated care for adolescents and transitional age youth. This new and exciting opportunity will work closely with our Integrated Care program to ensure that integrated services provided across our community mental health center are available and appropriate.

Responsibilities include providing behavior change interventions targeting obesity and tobacco use and oversight of the Breathe Well Live Well program. The Therapist will also serve as a liaison to our external partners, including local school districts and primary care providers, providing consultation to our partners regarding mental health concerns and identifying and connecting potential clients and their families to services. Additionally, this position will carry a small active caseload, providing referrals and direct services, including; screening, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and individual, family and group intervention.

This position may provide services at our clinic location, or in community settings including schools and at the homes of clients and their families.

We are seeking a Master’s level therapist that is eligible for licensure within the state of NH. LCMHC, LICSW, LMFT, MLADC, Psychologist or other related license is preferred.  Candidate should have 2 years or more of supervised experience in the field of counseling and demonstrated experience specific to the provision of integrated care services to youth and transitional aged youth.
