Office of Public Guardian

The Office of Public Guardian (OPG) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing guardianship and other fiduciary services to legally incapacitated individuals in New Hampshire.  OPG has 40 years of experience serving as guardian of the person and guardian of the estate for individuals living with intellectual disabilities, mental illness, progressive cognitive loss due to dementia or other neurological disorders, and traumatic brain injuries.  The staff of approximately 50 committed professionals work under the supervision of an experienced management team including an Executive Director, Director of Legal Services, Director of Finance, Director of Fiduciary Services and Director of Guardianship.

The Office of Public Guardian is held to the highest standards of accountability in New Hampshire by the courts and benefits agencies.  Our advocacy and decision-making models are guided by the National Guardianship Association’s Standards of Practice and Ethical Principles. Our goal is to protect the legal and human rights and civil liberties of each individual we serve. The Office of Public Guardian (OPG) is looking for someone to join our Fiduciary Services Department.  This unique, full-time position will be part of our quality assurance team. Duties include client check processing, preparing monthly benefit reports and some light bookkeeping.  The qualified candidate will be detail oriented, organized, dependable, able to work independently and as part of a team in a busy, fast-paced environment.  The individual must also possess a high degree of integrity and discretion regarding client confidentiality.  Satisfactory completion of background checks is required.  OPG is a non-profit organization providing legal guardianship and trustee services statewide.  We offer a supportive working environment and a competitive salary and benefits package.  Please email resume with detailed cover letter by January 27th to info@opgnh.org.  No phone calls please.
