Clinical Coordinator

Clinical Coordinator – Children’s Intervention Program

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time Clinical Manager to work in our Autism Spectrum Disorder program.  These services are available through our Children’s Program (ChIP). 

The Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinical Manager provides leadership to the ASD team including the provision of clinical care, staff supervision, fiscal accountability, risk management, and participation in short and long-range program development to meet the needs of the community. The ASD Clinical Manager is also expected to conduct comprehensive assessments, bio-psycho-social intakes and provide psychotherapy to a small caseload of clients to supplement the clinical needs of the program.

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field is required.
  • Active NH Licensure as LCMHC, LICSW, or BCBA certification is required. 
  • 3 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • 5 years in providing mental health and/or behavioral therapies and services
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills are required.
  • A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance or access to a reasonable alternative is preferred.
  • Oversees the daily operations of the autism program
  • Provides administrative and clinical supervision of program staff
  • Is responsible for program development and management
  • Tracks and manages program referrals
  • Secures ABA authorizations with insurance companies
  • Conducts high quality initial assessments and develops treatment/behavior plans
  • Demonstrates clinical and behavioral knowledge and skills
  • Demonstrates sound clinical judgment
  • Understands the child serving system of care
  • Coordinates with various outside agencies and other treatment providers
  • Coordinates with other parts of the Children’s Intervention Program
  • Provides regular psychotherapy and intake assessments to a small caseload of clients.
  • Participates on Children’s Intervention Program management team
  • Provides limited evening on-call coverage on a rotating basis
