Philanthropy Associate- Leadership Giving

The internationally renowned Dartmouth-Hitchcock system includes New Hampshire’s only academic medical center and a network of hundreds of primary and specialty care physicians located throughout New Hampshire and Vermont.

Cheshire Medical Center seeks an experienced Development candidate to join the Philanthropy and Community Relations department. The Philanthropy Associate-Leadership Giving will support the Cheshire Health Foundation Leadership Giving program whose primary goal is to increase major and planned gifts in support of the health and wellness mission of Cheshire Medical Center. The Philanthropy Associate is key to the implementation of Cheshire Health Foundation's Major Gifts fundraising efforts to help ensure Cheshire Medical Center has charitable resources to support its mission. The Associate will work closely with the Vice President, Philanthropy & Community Relations, and the Director, Leadership Giving, to implement the major gifts segments of the development strategy, working with individuals, businesses and foundations to secure major and planned gifts to support special/capital projects and long-term endowment growth.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or other relevant field. Work requires four years of progressive fundraising or related experience with a proven track record in major gifts. Successful individuals in related fields with a strong record of building relationships will also be considered. Raiser's Edge experience preferred or equivalent experience with other fundraising software.
