The Fiscal Manager is a part time position (30 hours per week) and is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and functions of the agency with primary responsibilities including accounting, financial reporting, and agency and grant budget management.

  • Degree in business or accounting or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum of three years of experience with computerized accounting, non-profit preferred;
  • Experience working with Quickbooks a plus;
  • Experience with grants management or cost accounting;
  • Attention to detail a must;
  • Understanding of and commitment to the mission and values of YWCA NH;
  • Ability to work in a changing environment; and
  • Understanding and commitment to the mission of YWCA New Hampshire.
  • Assist Management Team with preparing annual agency budget;
  • Prepare budgets for federal and foundation grant applications and reports;
  • Monitor grant expenditures to ensure they meet terms of grant awards;
  • Submit budget revisions as needed to funders;
  • Endowment reconciliation and accounting;
  • Prepare bank reconciliation;
  • Responsible for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable;
  • Monitor cash flow;
  • Enter payroll into Accounting System;
  • Prepare schedule and financial statements for annual independent audit;
  • Attend, whenever possible, functions of YWCA NH including annual fundraising breakfast, Roaring 20’s Evening, and Missy’s Hope 5K;
  • Promote the YWCA mission and work to eliminate racism and empower women;
  • Contribute to a positive work environment; and
  • Sustain an environment that encourages women’s and girl’s investment in themselves and in the YWCA movement.
