Database Administrator

Boys & Girls Club of Manchester

The Boys & Girls Club of Manchester is a 100+ year old private non-profit organization with our mission being to reach out to all young people ages 6-18 years, with special concern given to kids who needs us most, providing programs and services that enable our members to become productive, responsible and caring individuals. We currently offer programs at 3 sites during the school year and a Day Camp program during the out of school summer months. We have an annual membership of between 1500 and 2000 boys and girls with an average daily attendance of approximately 450 members during the school year and 350 campers during the Summer Day Camp Program. We offer a wide variety of programs in five core areas with a special focus on academic achievement, healthy lifestyles and character & leadership development.


The Database Administrator (approx. 20-25 hours/week) is responsible for the management of data relating to fundraising and cultivation events for the Boys & Girls Club of Manchester, including but not limited to discovery hours, annual campaign, capital campaign, golf tournament and other special events.  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using Blackbaud Raiser's Edge or a comparable data managment program.  Responsible for data management, gift processing, report generation, acknowledgement letters, constituent records, data anlaysis, etc. and must ensure that information is handled with meticulous attention to detail, privacy and accuracy.  The ideal candidate will provide reports as needed and maintain a good line of communication will all members of the resource development and marketing staff, CEO, board of directors, staff peers and volunteers.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years work experience with a nonprofit or Boys & Girls Club; excellent organizational skills and ability to be self-directed, strong communication skills-both verbal and written, ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain effective working relationships, and experience with Raiser's Edge or comparable data managment program.
