Grant & Communications Coordinator - Community Relations Team

Position Summary: The Community Relations Team of The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester is seeking a Grant & Communications Coordinator to empower individuals to achieve recovery and promote personal and community wellness through an accessible, comprehensive, integrated, and evidence-based system of care. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Working with the Community Relations Team, this person will primarily be responsible for developing and writing annual or specialized grant proposals to foundations and other grant-making organizations by conducting proper research; maintaining a calendar to ensure timely submission; and assembling and submitting grant requests. Other duties include assisting the Community Relations Team with training and fundraising events/efforts.

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent writing, analytical, and research skills are essential.  The candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized, as well as have experience using online databases. 

Education: Bachelor's degree required.

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience required. Experience in developing and maintaining SAMHSA grants preferred.
