The Front Door Agency, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization celebrating its 30th year offering support and programs to assist families and individuals in greater Nashua, NH transition from crisis to self-sufficiency. It has a great reputation of serving families at-risk of homelessness in becoming independent through its Transitional Housing, Housing Stability, Affordable Housing, and its Financial Literacy Programs.

Our main office/headquarters is located at 7 Concord Street, Nashua, NH 03064 and is open Monday-Thursday 8:30-4:30 and closed on Fridays.


Reporting to Chief Development Officer, the Development Assistant will be a member of the FDA’s development team. S/he will work closely with Chief Development Officer, Special Events Manager, Foundation Relations Manager, and the Marketing/Media Relations Coordinator in providing database oversight and execution and general administrative tasks to increase overall giving for the agency. 

The position is 25-30 hrs/wk.  Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include vacation, sick leave and holidays.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the mission of the Front Door Agency, a keen understanding of its programs and goals; have a minimum of two years of administrative experience with special attention to database management. S/he must possess strong verbal and writing skills, and must have a collegial, team-building style. 

The successful candidate should hold a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration; be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; have working knowledge of database systems.

Responsibilities:

This individual will be the primary point person for oversight, maintenance and recording of donor-related and auction item contributions data entry within the agency’s donor database and auction software; processing of all gifts received; executing all mailings; preparing and distributing meeting minutes; and providing general administrative functions for the team.
