Intake Services Program Manager

Greater Nashua Mental Health Center

Established in 1920, Greater Nashua Mental Health Center (GNMHC) has as its mission: empowering individuals to lead full and satisfying lives through treatment and support. Our agency provides comprehensive, evidence-based behavioral health services for individuals with mental health and/or substance misuse disorders.  We offer a wide array of services in office and community settings, serving adults and children.  As the State-designated Community Mental Health Center for Southern Hillsborough County, we serve everyone who walks in our doors, and no one is ever turned away due to the inability to pay for services.  Without our agency, many of the most vulnerable members of our community would not have access to critically needed behavioral health care.   We believe that by respecting people as they are, we can help them to become all that they wish to be.

Our community based mental health center is looking for an Intake Services Program Manager to join our team! This position will be responsible for the management of both programs and personnel associated with our Central Intake and Critical Time Intervention teams. Additionally, they will provide direct diagnostic assessment of clients of all ages seeking services from the center.

Beyond the clinical diagnostic assessments described above, the Intake Services Program Manager’s time will be dedicated to facilitating effective communication within and across teams; identifying opportunities to improve processes; developing improved business processes; and documenting and standardizing those processes, as well as communicating out to other departments as necessary.

The Intake Services Program Manager will provide leadership and oversite in a variety of domains, including but not limited to: providing staff clinical supervision, program development, training and professional development of staff, community outreach, and liaising with collateral agencies and individuals.
