Psychiatric Physician Assistant

Manchester Community Health Center, a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center, is looking for a Certified Physician Assistant to join our multi-disciplinary health team in Manchester, NH. Full-time status is available in order to become eligible for the Federal Loan Repayment Program as well as the NH State Loan Repayment Program. Part-time or per-diem is optional, flex schedule/condensed work week possible.

The incoming Psychiatry PA will provide initial evaluations, psychopharmacological management, and behavioral management consultation to our patients in our outpatient setting.

Qualifications/Education:
•Master’s degree in the field of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program plus at least 2-3 years of Psych experience (this is not an entry level position)
•Must be board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
•Experience in an outpatient psychiatry clinical setting preferred.
•Excellent interpersonal communication skills and strong oral and written communication skills.
•Experience with information technology, electronic health records, and culturally diverse populations.

Founded in 1980 and part of MCHC since 2014, Child Health Services (CHS) at MCHC is the pediatric practice of Manchester Community Health Center, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of at-risk children. Through all its programs, MCHC serves over 13,800 patients annually across four locations in Manchester, including the West Side Neighborhood Health Center.
