Human Resource Director

Greater Seacoast Community Health is in search of a Human Resources Director, an important member of the Greater Seacoast Community Health (GSCH) leadership team. The Human Resources Director (HR Director) will be responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of our human capital strategies and processes. This individual will contribute to achieving our overall mission by developing and implementing strategic human capital programs that serve to attract and retain talent, support equity and inclusion, and achieve competitive performance in our markets.

The HR Director will:

  • Model GSCH's core values and culture of service while driving the evolution of strategic HR practices to achieve excellence.
  • Serve as a change agent in the implementation of HR policies, programs and services, including talent acquisition and development, equity and inclusion, legal compliance, employee relations, total rewards, wellness, employee communications and HR systems.
  • Foster a work environment consistent with the values and mission of GSCH.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with five years’ experience in human resources
  • SHRM or HRCI certification
  • Experience in health care industry preferred
  • Experience reflecting increasingly responsible management positions within human resources, including mentoring and developing a high-performing HR team.
  • Authentic personal alignment with, and commitment to, the company's mission, vision, and values.
  • Significant breadth and depth of experience as a human resources strategist at the executive leadership level.
  • Practical experience and knowledge of current human resources processes, with a particular emphasis on the areas of competitive talent acquisition and workforce strategy, equity and inclusion, organizational change management, performance evaluation, and compensation systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance and/or develop and implement human resources programs and procedures to improve overall operations and organizational effectiveness.
  • Affinity for technology and automation in HR processes.
  • Demonstrated capability to develop and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience with the implementation of innovative approaches to managing human capital and addressing long-term issues.
  • Exemplary integrity, serving as a role model in exuding trust and transparency, and maintaining the highest of professional standards.
