Morning Van Driver

Connections Peer Support Center

Connections Peer Support Center is a Peer Support nonprofit organization dedicated to mental health wellness, recovery, and empowerment.  The goals are to provide a voice for individual wellness, recovery, and empowerment and to foster a consumer-driven wellness recovery program.

We serve the Rockinham County area, for people who are 18 years of age and older who self identify as a consumer of mental health center now or in the past, or is at a risk of receiving  services in the  near future.


Part-time van driver needed to transport adult program participants to and from this non-profit agency providing comprehensive wellness education and peer-to-peer support in the Seacoast region who have experienced mental health issues of one kind or another.

Primarily mornings, 10-12 hours/week @ $10/hr., but opportunity for occasional midday or afternoon hours, as well.

The successful applicant will possess a NH driver’s license, agree to a DMV driving record check, and completion of online and staff-to-staff training. He or she will also be personable, courteous, and will also have "lived experience" with mental health issues. Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Route/mileage recordkeeping
  • General maintenance (checking fluids, tires inflated, keeping the vehicle clean, etc.)
  • Review of daily schedule
  • Working with the program coordinator to develop the optimal route for the next day
  • Picking up participants at their home and/or return them home at the end of the day
  • Transportation for occasional field trips or for training.

Some current locations for transport include Stratham, Newmarket, Hampton and Kensington, but most are in the Portsmouth area. The vehicle is a 15 passenger 2015 Ford Transit 350 Van.
