Maintenance Assistant

Greater Nashua Mental Health Center

Established in 1920, Greater Nashua Mental Health Center (GNMHC) has as its mission: empowering individuals to lead full and satisfying lives through treatment and support. Our agency provides comprehensive, evidence-based behavioral health services for individuals with mental health and/or substance misuse disorders.  We offer a wide array of services in office and community settings, serving adults and children.  As the State-designated Community Mental Health Center for Southern Hillsborough County, we serve everyone who walks in our doors, and no one is ever turned away due to the inability to pay for services.  Without our agency, many of the most vulnerable members of our community would not have access to critically needed behavioral health care.   We believe that by respecting people as they are, we can help them to become all that they wish to be.

We are seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant to support our Facilities Department with general upkeep of buildings and property. Job responsibilities will include light carpentry, general handiwork, painting, light plumbing issues, grounds maintenance, moving office furniture, and other maintenance related tasks as assigned.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive, friendly and can-do attitude. This position requires a high attention to detail and an understanding of tools and safety. Previous experience in a maintenance role is preferred.

This part-time position will be around 25-hours per week, Monday - Friday with some flexibility on scheduling. Apply today!
