2020 Clinical Quality (Virtual) Symposium

Interprofessional Collaboration for Better Clinical Outcomes

Presented by: Bi-State Primary Care Association

Bi-State's 2020 Clinical Quality Symposium: Interprofessional Collaboration for Better Clinical Outcomes, connects the three pillars of health - primary medical, mental health, and oral health care services - in seamless collaboration and coordination. With an ever-changing health care environment, it is increasingly necessary to integrate care to achieve optimum health for our patients and to demonstrate high-quality outcomes to our funders.

The Symposium’s Keynote Speaker, Benjamin Anderson, will walk us through the myriad of ways health care systems can and do break down in siloed systems, with a harrowing example from his own life. Other included sessions will further examine chronic pain and substance use disorder in the context of the three pillars of health and provide clinicians with tools and strategies for their practices.

We anticipate CEUs will be available for physicians, dentists, nurses, social workers, and licensed drug and alcohol counselors.
