NH Summit 2019: Economic Inclusion and Digital Equity

Presented by: National Collaborative for Digital Equity

In partnership with the NH Bankers Association, NHBEA’s division of economic development, Economic Vitality NH, the NH School Administrators Association and other partners, the NH-based National Collaborative for Digital Equity is holding its 2nd annual NH summit on economic inclusion and digital equity, on October 28-29 at St. Anselm College.

Local and state leaders in economic inclusion, banking, education and philanthropy are encouraged to join us on either Day One (focusing on action planning to strengthen inclusion pathways to living wage employment) and/or Day Two (focusing on digital equity planning to remove local digital divide barriers to economic and educational opportunity).

At this almost entirely interactive, action planning gathering, the keynote presentation will be delivered by US Treasury deputy comptroller Barry Wides, who oversees Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) compliance for national banks which together hold 70% of the nation’s bank assets ($12 trillion) and annually invest $85 billion in CRA funds for economic opportunity in low and moderate-income communities, in support of improved economic opportunity.  Come learn – and help shape in NH – how CRA funding partnerships can enhance your nonprofit’s efforts to give the economically disadvantaged more voice, agency and economic self-determination.

Date/Time: Monday, October 28, 2019 - 8:15am to Tuesday, October 29, 2019 - 4:45pm
Location: St. Anselm College
