Spirit Airlines Donates to Boys & Girls Club of Manchester

ManchesterSpirit Airlines donated $10,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Manchester as part of its inaugural celebration as the newest airline carrier at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT). Representatives from the Spirit Charitable Foundation presented the check to Boys & Girls Club of Manchester CEO Diane Fitzpatrick, Development Director Natalie Jutras, and three Club members on October 7.

“On behalf of the Boys & Girls Club of Manchester, we are excited to welcome Spirit Airlines to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport,” said Fitzpatrick. “We are thankful to the Spirit Charitable Foundation for this generous gift and appreciate its commitment to inspiring positive change in our city and in our children.”

The funds will support the services the Boys & Girls Club of Manchester provides, which includes programs delivered at its main Clubhouse at 555 Union Street and after school programs at Jewett Street and Highland Goffe’s Falls Elementary Schools in Manchester.

The Manchester Boys Club was incorporated in 1907 and became the Boys & Girls Club of Manchester in 1983 – one of the 53 original organizations that formed the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
