Newburyport Bank has continued its longstanding support of the Strawbery Banke Museum with a donation of $1,500.
The Museum offers a unique experience to visitors, providing over 300 years of American history in an authentic 10-acre outdoor museum in the heart of downtown Portsmouth, NH. Visitors can enjoy eight different heritage gardens, thirty-two historic buildings and even presentations from costumed role players who provide stories and details about the area’s rich history. Strawbery Bank Museum reopens for the 2021 Historic Season on Saturday, June 19.
“The Strawbery Banke Museum is such a vital part of our community” stated Lloyd L. Hamm, President & CEO of Newburyport Bank. “The Museum notes that it is a place to learn, a place to gather, and a place to preserve. And that is absolutely true as it presents the determination and hard work of those living three hundred years ago. So much can be learned from those historical experiences and our support will help to preserve the Museum’s work for future generations.”
