Natalee Martin has been appointed Chief Advancement Officer at Seacoast Science Center, located in Rye, NH. The position was created as part of the Center's renewed recommitment to fundraising, to ensure that the institution is meeting the community's evolving needs and growing conservation ideals. Natalee's enthusiasm to engage our community in helping to advance coastal and marine environmental education and conservation, while promoting inclusivity for all, is inspiring.
Natalee grew up in Rye and after graduating from the University of Connecticut in 2005, stayed in the state and began her career in development at the American Cancer Society. From there she spent some time at UConn's Hillel before going to the March of Dimes for seven years. During that time Natalee earned her masters degree in nonprofit management before moving to the UConn Foundation to be the Director of Development for the UConn School of Medicine.
Natalee and her husband Erik have always dreamed of coming back to the Seacoast with their two daughters, Abigail and Isabel, and are thrilled to have finally made that a reality this summer. When she's not at work or the beach, Natalee's reading, shuttling her girls around to various activities, or playing with the family's two cats and Golden Retriever puppy.
