About the Job

Description

The New Hampshire Food Bank is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate. The Warehouse Associate performs all duties related to order selection, the loading and unloading of trucks, and the receiving and stocking of inventory.

Duties

• Clean and maintain warehouse, coolers, equipment, and facilities ensuring that work areas are clean, secure, and well-maintained

• Select and stage orders for agencies

• Set up and keep stock in shopping areas as well as rotate stock and store salvage and boxed donations

• Receive and unload trucks as well as prepare loads for shipping to member agencies

• Work as needed for special events such as food shows and fund raising which may include some night and/or weekend work

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED, preferred

• Food Safety License and/or Certificate desired

• Basic material handling and warehouse/inventory practices knowledge required

• Experience in warehouse operations preferred

• Ability to operate fork lifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
