It is located in Nashua, New Hampshire and has a great reputation of serving families at-risk of homelessness in becoming independent through its Transformational Housing, Housing Stability, Affordable Housing, and Financial Literacy Programs.

Make a difference in the lives of women and families transitioning out of homelessness.

The Front Door Agency is seeking a compassionate, organized, and mission-driven Residential Services Coordinator (RSC) to join our Housing Programs team. In this 32-hour/week position, you’ll work directly with women in Mary’s House and single mothers in our Transformational Housing program—connecting them to critical resources, coordinating educational and wellness activities, and helping build a strong, supportive community.

This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with the Housing Administrator to facilitate smooth resident transitions, including intake, onboarding, and orientation
  • Complete a service needs assessment within the first month of residency and develop individualized goal plans addressing financial stability, mental health, crisis intervention, and wellness
  • Provide referrals and advocate for access to public benefits (e.g., Social Security, SNAP, substance use supports)
  • Conduct regular resident care coordination meetings and ensure Releases of Information (ROIs) are signed to effectively advocate for residents
  • Maintain accurate and timely case documentation using agency software
  • Plan, design and distribute a monthly newsletters and calendars recognizing achievements, birthdays, and upcoming events for both communities.
  • Set up units for new tenants creating a welcoming space
  • Plan, coordinate, facilitate and recruit volunteers and other professionals to provide educational programming, weekly support groups, and monthly fun activities for residents.
  • Participate in quarterly advisory group meetings with community stakeholders (e.g., Housing Authority, Mental Health, Police)
  • Support regular unit inspections, address lease compliance issues, and mediate tenant disputes
  • Create and maintain an organized Resource Center with relevant materials and supports
  • File and follow up on all incident reports related to behavioral issues or emergencies
  • Support the Housing Administrator with daily tenant interactions
  • Oversee the property’s donation and tenant store
  • Monitor camera and key tag access to review possible areas of concern and secure overall safety of the property.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Associate’s degree in social work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience supporting women/families in crisis or poverty
  • Knowledge of social services, substance use support, and trauma-informed care
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and occasionally in the evenings (2 per month)
